Martin’s Farm has a 6-foot diameter, 25-foot long trommel screen for rent. This machine can be used in sand, gravel, topsoil and compost. We have had production or 80 yards of wet compost per hour (worst case) up to about 150 yards per hour of topsoil. The machine has 5/8-inch screens in it with a brush system to keep them clean. A radial stacking conveyor can stockpile up to about 800 yards at the end of the machine before you have to move any of the screened product. We rent the unit out by the week in the Franklin County, MA, and surrounding area. A large 4 yard loader is also available to rent, to be used with the machine. Please call for rates.

Tub Grinder Rental

We rent our 9’ Duratech tub grinder for various grinding jobs. We can grind large chunks of soft wood stumps and all sorts of brush and wood chips. We have 2”, 3”, 4”, and 5” screens to grind various size products. This machine is rented out by the hour with a one-day minimum. Please call for rates.

Rolloff Dumpster Service

We have various size dumpsters for trash disposal and other hauling needs. Ten to thirty yard dumpsters can be ordered for house clean outs, construction waste, and demolition. We also have special rates for clean, unpainted wood. This would include pallets of all sorts, 2x4s and boards of all sizes. Nails are acceptable. The machine has a magnet that will pull these out.

Brush Disposal

Martin’s Farm accepts brush of all sorts. Two inch diameter and smaller is acceptable. A fee is charged for this.

Stumps Disposal

Medium to small stumps are accepted. We can also pick these up with our equipment. A fee is charged for these.

Leaf Disposal

Leaves and other yard waste is accepted at our facility for composting. This service is free of charge.

Manure Hauling Service

We pickup manure from horse farms for the cost of trucking. No tipping fee is charged. We have a loader that can be brought to the site if no one is there. Our large truck costs $65 per hour which holds approximately 30 yards. Our smaller truck is $35 per hour and holds approximately 15 yards. Trucking of the loader is also charged on an hourly rate but not for the actual use of the loader.

Organic Lawn Care Service

We are also providing organic lawncare. We have a program of applying our organic approved compost on lawns with a special top dressing machine. Applying the compost in the spring and fall will greatly improve the lawns. The compost along with cutting the lawn no shorter than three inches will help tremendously with the overall health of the lawn. Organic lawncare can also be very helpful in rejuvenating damaged lawns or planting a new lawn. Applying compost can be done anytime and will not affect animals or children playing on it.

An application twice a year of 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick on your lawn will greatly improve root growth and give a lush green color. Compost will also add considerably to the moisture retention capability of your lawn which will require less watering.
