Producing Top Quality Compost For Twenty Years

Martin's Farm Recycling has been producing top quality compost for the past twenty years. Our customers are using our compost and mulches with great success. Unlike many compost products on the market, we pay close attention to materials used, turn the piles in a timely manner, watching temperatures, oxygen, and moisture content. We test each windrow pile when it is complete to determine if the quality is up to our standards. Macro and Micro nutrients consistently test at high levels for compost. Any heavy metals are found to be low or negligible, and well below acceptable levels. PH ranges from 6.8 to 7.8 quite consistently. Copies of these tests are available upon request.

In recent years we have branched out to producing mulches. These mulches are made by grinding various trees and brush with our tub grinder. Different screens are used in the tub grinder to make different products. Please check out our product line on this web site.

In 2008 we started bagging our compost. We sell it in 1 cubic foot bags. These are available at the farm and at local farm supply and garden centers.
